I had a wonderful time as composer in residence with the Key City Winds in Abilene, TX! The weekend included a great concert of woodwind quintets by women throughout history (including “Automaton” from my Cabinet of Curiosities) and a guest lecture at Abilene Christian University.

A huge thanks to the Key City Winds and to the Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest for sponsoring my visit. I had a great first time in Texas!
